est l'un des plus grands centres de recherche en Afrique avec une excellence dans l'épidémiologie et la biologie des vecteurs et des parasites du paludisme
et d'autres maladies à transmission vectorielle telles que la leishmaniose, la filariose, les arbovirus et les maladies à tiques.

The Pathogen genomic Diversity Network Africa (PDNA) is an African-led research network investigating pathogens’ genetic and genomic diversity in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). The PDNA has been formed with support with support from MRC Centre for Genomics and Global Health (CGGH) and other local and international collaborators to address contemporary and future challenges facing the current initiative to control pathogens associated with different infectious diseases including those causing epidemics and pandemics. The network is currently spearheading the use of innovative genomics and related technology to support the ongoing malaria elimination efforts in SSA.
